West London

Supporting young people in communities across four west London boroughs.

Our origins

AllChild was inspired by a visit to Harlem Children’s Zone in New York, which aims for long term change in communities and better outcomes for children and young people. Challenges in west London were similar - siloed support services, with limited opportunities for children and young people.

After deep consultation with families, local charities, councils, resident associations and more, our Impact Programme launched in three schools in 2016.

Fast forward 10 years, we work in schools across Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, Brent and Westminster. Today, we work with 36 schools and directly support over 1,200 children and their families.

Our impact in west London in 2025

75%

of children moved out of risk in social or emotional wellbeing.

98%

of AllChild children and young people completed the Impact Programme and stayed in school.

75%

persistently absent children (below 90% attendance) improved their attendance, with over half no longer persistently absent.

Connecting young people to place-based support

In 2025, a student at a Westminster secondary school was at risk of permanent exclusion, had an attendance of 84% and was struggling in maths.

After being identified by a Link Worker, they joined our Impact Programme. Over two years, they recieved one-to-one support, built trusted relationships and enagaged in opportunities from our Delivery Partners. They grew in confidence, and completed year 9 - no longer at risk of exclusion, with an attendance of 94%, and a significant improvement in maths.
