How AllChild works with you and your child

When AllChild starts working at your child’s school, we have in-depth discussions with teachers to understand and identify which children may benefit most from our two-year Impact Programme. This is a free, strengths-based programme designed to support children who would benefit from additional opportunities, encouragement and connection during a key stage in their development.

The AllChild Journey

When your child is invited to join, we will already have begun identifying their strengths, interests and areas where they may benefit from extra support. Working in close partnership with you and your child, we design tailored support that helps them build confidence, feel settled in school, access exciting opportunities and develop across different areas at their own pace.

What is a Link Worker?

Your child will be supported by a Link Worker. Link Workers are a trusted adult based in their school who takes time to get to know them, listen to them, and understand what matters to them.

Link Workers work alongside teachers, families and local organisations to connect everything that supports your child, both in and out of school, so they can access the right opportunities at the right time.

How we work with families

We believe the best support is built with families. Your child’s teachers and Link Worker agree goals and a timetable, reviewing these regularly. You’ll always be invited to share your thoughts, ideas and feedback.

We work inclusively, connecting families with existing local resources so the benefits continue long after the programme ends.
The most valuable aspect of the AllChild programme to me is the genuine care and love that’s been shown to us.
