Local Authorities

Joining up networks of support

We work closely with Local Authorities to strengthen connections in our communities. Partnerships with Local Authorities enable our team to provide on the ground support for children and young people, build trusted relationships and join up systems of support.

Where we work

AllChild works in partnership with Local Authorities across west London, the North West and Hastings, with plans to broaden our reach to new locations and deepen our impact over the next 10 years.

In each place, our work reflects our shared commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people, families and communities. In the last decade, our early‑action model has supported more than 9,000 children and young people to improve their wellbeing, attendance, and engagement with school.

Creating connections

AllChild partners closely with Local Authorities to strengthen connections, provide on the ground support and build trusted relationships in our communities. We work together to align on a shared vision, goals and join up systems of support.

We seek to use social outcomes contracts to focus on the change we create within each Local Authority. Working together, we evidence and analyse our impact, directing funding into programmes that truly work for children, young people and their communities.
Our funding model

Practical partnerships
Our work with Local Authories makes on the ground support to children and young people possible. Close collaboration enables us to deliver on outcomes, recieve funding, and work deeper and more effectively in place.

Driving positive outcomes
We want to create lasting change for our communities, reflecting local contexts and strengths. We use social outcomes contracts to work in partnership with Local Authorities - evidencing our impact and driving investment into programmes that work.

Building connections
Partnerships with Local Authorities help us build connections with schools, collaborate with Early Help and other services and create stronger links with voluntary and community sector organisations in each place we work in.

A shared vision
We're building a movement for change, and working collaboratively with Local Authorities is crucial to make this happen. Everywhere we work, our partnerships are based on shared values and goals to enable joined-up support for families, children and young people.
