Link Worker Diary: Bluebird Masterclass

Back in October, three Primary School Link Workers and nine children headed to the lovely Bluebird Café in White City.
We were greeted into the cosy restaurant with glasses of apple juice and a tour of the kitchen by Prashant, the head chef.
Back at our table and feeling inspired by the professional cooking and equipment they had seen, the children got to work rolling out their pizza bases. Prashant gave us a big choice of toppings so everyone could create their own favourite pizza. Some pizzas had faces, others had patterns, but almost all of them were topped off with massive handfuls of cheese!
While their creations baked in the oven, the children were given activity packs to work on and some parents joined us ready to try the freshly cooked pizzas.
