Big Give Christmas Challenge 2024: Double the donation, double the impact

This year, AllChild is once again taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge, a matched-funding campaign that runs for just one week in December where any donations made to us are matched by our amazing Big Give partner, The Childhood Trust.

During this week, we aim to raise £30,000 in donations, which, thanks to the matched funding, will total £60,000 to help fund our critical work in giving children and young people living in underserved neighbourhoods the social, emotional, and academic opportunities they deserve to flourish.

The 2024 Big Give Christmas Challenge takes place from Tuesday, 3rd to Tuesday, 10th December and we need your support.

How you can help:

Any time between the 3rd and 10th December, please visit our campaign page to make a donation through the Big Give platform. Once again, during this week only, anything you can donate will be doubled thanks to the Big Give and our matched funding partner, The Childhood Trust.

What your donation could support:

  • Donate £50 (doubled to £100): Funds a 1:1 tutoring session for two children struggling with their maths and English.
  • Donate £250 (doubled to £500): Funds four months of out-of-school opportunities for a child through one of our incredible delivery partners, designed to boost confidence and wellbeing.
  • Donate £500 (doubled to £1000): Funds one dedicated AllChild Link Worker for one child or young person for a year.

All thanks to you

Last year, due to generous donations from supporters during the 2023 Big Give Christmas Challenge, we were able to direct funds to AllChild programmes in four schools in Brent.

We supported 510 children and young people across 14 school settings in Brent, working with 27 delivery partners, and linking families to 41 local public, private, and voluntary services. All this work delivered transformational results for those children and their families, including:

  • 80% at risk improved in their emotional wellbeing
  • 66% at risk improved their English
  • 72% at risk improved their maths
  • 65% of persistently-absent children improved their attendance

We are incredibly grateful for your support. This year, once again and with your generosity, we can double the impact of our work for children and young people, their families, schools, and communities.

Remember to visit our campaign page any time between the 3rd and 10th December to make a donation for double the impact this winter.
